Tahini, Date & Cacao Cookies
Nothing beats a cuppa and a bit of homemaking! These cookies are super delicious and a good source of protein, fibre and energy giving B vitamins.
Ingredients
- 110g tahini paste
- 50g chopped medjool dates
- 30g ground almonds
- 20g gluten free oats
- 10g buckwheat flour (or any gluten free flour)
- 15g raw cacao powder
- 50g coconut sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 medium egg
Method
- Mix everything together in a bowl
- Divide mixture into 16 even sized balls (about a tablespoon each)
- Flatten with a fork *Bake on a lined baking tray at 200 gas 6 for 8 minutes.
- Eat as quick as you can!
